Introducing Fair Pricing & Flexible Recruiting Memberships to Meet your Hiring Needs

This October, WeAreDevelopers is excited to introduce a new feature to the existing Recruiting Membership plans: The Fair Pricing Policy. Companies now have greater flexibility to align costs with actual hiring needs, giving you even stronger control over your spending and ensuring you get the most out of your investment.

Built-in flexibility: Automatic membership pausing

With the Fair Pricing Policy, memberships automatically pause whenever no active job ads are online, resuming only when a new ad is posted. This pay-for-use model means you’re only billed for active recruiting days, allowing your recruiting efforts to adapt to your hiring demands seamlessly.

A snapshot of the new plans and core benefits

Each plan includes the same flexible benefits, tailored to company size and hiring volume:

  • Team: Perfect for smaller teams with selective hiring needs.
  • Corporate: A balanced option for mid-sized companies managing ongoing recruitment.
  • Enterprise and Enterprise+: Designed for larger organizations with high-volume hiring.

Key features across all plans:

  • Automatic pause & resume: When all job ads are offline, your membership pauses, resuming as soon as a new ad goes live.
  • Active day cap: Memberships include up to 365 active job posting days within a 36-month maximum duration. Memberships renew automatically when either limit is reached.
  • Profile visibility: Company profiles and story-posting remain active, though paused companies will be excluded from the Featured Companies section.

Real-time tracking & notifications

Keep track of your membership status with updated tracking features and monthly summaries:

  • Dashboard summary: Your dashboard now displays real-time data on remaining active days and provides a clear, streamlined view of usage.
  • Monthly email summaries: Automated monthly updates keep you informed of the total used and remaining active days and notify you when renewals or expirations are due.

Transitioning to the Fair Pricing Policy

Starting in October, all new memberships will automatically include our Fair Pricing Plans. These are the options for existing members:

  • Auto-renewal: Members currently on an auto-renewing plan can continue with their current pricing and plan details unless they choose to upgrade to a Fair Pricing plan.
  • Manual renewal: Members who renew manually will have the opportunity to switch to a Fair Pricing plan during their next renewal cycle.

If you decide to move to a Fair Pricing plan, it seamlessly integrates with your existing membership—ensuring continuity and aligning with the 365 active-day usage limit.

It offers more flexibility, transparency, and control over the recruiting process, tailored to the needs of teams of all sizes.
