Starting with this week's Web Dev Day edition of WeAreDevelopers LIVE Days, we changed the the way we run these online conferences.
The main differences are:
- Shorter talks (half an hour tops)
- More interaction in Q&A
- A tips and tricks "Did you know" section
- CODE100 challenges - winners qualify for the final at the WeAreDevelopers World Congress
- A closing panel with all the presenters (time permitting)
The format stays the same, you still can watch the days online and for free, but we stick to a tighter schedule:
10:00 Introduction to the day, the agenda and speakers
10:15 First session
10:45 Q&A First session
11:00 Second session
11:30 Q&A Second session
11:45 CODE 100 Multiple Choice Challenge 1
12:00 Third Session
12:30 Q&A Third session
12:45 Did you know? Tips and Tricks videos
13:00 Fourth session
13:30 Q&A Fourth session
13:45 CODE 100 Code Challenge 2
14:00 Closing Panel (if possible)
14:30 End, Thanks and Good-bye
1 The Winner qualifies final in Berlin and will be announced at the end of the event
2 People have until the end of the week to submit their results via an online Form. Winners will be announced on social media on Monday.
We applied these changes to make it easier for presenters to cover one topic well instead of giving longer, more daunting talks and for the online audience to become more involved and to know when to dial in - for those who can't spend the whole day following the event.
Want to be part of this? We are always looking for presenters and you can apply to our Call for Papers here.
If you feel like taking part in the CODE100 competition - this week's challenge is still open and we published the answers of the knowledge round.
