ServiceNow SPM Integration Developer -

• The ServiceNow SPM Integration Developer will design, build, and deploy custom integrations focusing on ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM). Sitting within the Software Engineering / Packaged Application group, this role drives technical alignment between ServiceNow and enterprise systems-specifically connecting financial structures within ServiceNow SPM and SAP modules to enable seamless data exchange and operational visibility.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Architect, configure, and build robust REST/SOAP web services and custom API integrations within the ServiceNow platform.
• Configure and customize ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) components, including financial management, project portfolios, and resource planning modules.
• Design and execute data integration pipelines between ServiceNow SPM and SAP ECC or SAP BW finance modules.
• Conduct end-to-end integration testing, data mapping, and troubleshooting across cross-functional enterprise platform interfaces.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and business stakeholders to translate complex portfolio management requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Document integration workflows, system dependency maps, and API specifications to support post-deployment governance., * Design, build, and maintain custom API integrations and web services within the ServiceNow platform.
• Configure and customize ServiceNow SPM modules to align with enterprise portfolio management processes.
• Map and execute data integration pipelines connecting ServiceNow SPM to SAP finance systems.
• Validate integration security, data accuracy, and system performance through end-to-end testing.

ServiceNow Integration Development (5+ years) - Practical track record designing and writing custom scripts/APIs to integrate ServiceNow with third-party platforms.

ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (4-6 years) - Deep configuration and development expertise within the SPM (formerly ITBM) suite.

Work Authorization - Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).

NICE-TO-HAVES

Experience integrating ServiceNow SPM directly with SAP ECC or SAP BW (specifically financial modules).

Strong knowledge of SAP financial data structures and enterprise data lakehouse/data warehouse systems.

• Enterprise Application Architecture & Data Mapping, * The ideal candidate is an expert ServiceNow Engineer with hands-on mastery in building complex third-party integrations, specifically around ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM). They possess deep technical fluency with web service protocols, demonstrate an architectural understanding of enterprise ERP systems like SAP, and excel at independent remote execution.

The most important thing for this role is that they have solid experience doing SPM projects. Additionally, someone wit financial integration with SAP from a timekeeping perspective is very important. They are at the tail end of the project and are missing these skills on their team, so need someone that has very strong expertise. This will be a 3 month contract to start and could extend depending on if the project extends. USC or Greencard only because their client is a defense contractor Industry experience not important Remote but PST if possible, they are flexible on that.

Work setup: 100% Remote (no requirement to be local to San Diego, CA). Travel and approved expenses paid by client if required.

Reason for opening: Critical enterprise integration initiative connecting ServiceNow SPM to financial backend systems to streamline portfolio data.

Deliverables & Project Scope: End-to-end design and build of ServiceNow SPM integrations, focusing on mapping financial data between ServiceNow SPM and SAP ECC/BW platforms.
