Job description
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues via help desk systems and customer support ticket management tools such as BMC Remedy and Jira.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
- Assist with computer management tasks including operating system installation, updates, Active Directory management, Group Policy Object (GPO) configuration, and user account administration.
- Support network infrastructure by troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity, DNS issues, TCP/IP configurations, VPN connections, firewall settings, and network administration using tools like Meraki and Cisco.
- Conduct hardware diagnostics and repairs for computer hardware components while supporting IT infrastructure maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members on software troubleshooting involving operating systems such as Windows and Linux.
- Maintain documentation of technical issues and resolutions while ensuring excellent customer service through clear communication skills.

- Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows (including Windows support)
- Hands-on experience with help desk systems
- Knowledge of computer management tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues involving computer hardware components and peripherals effectively.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical problems quickly and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to provide clear guidance and customer support in a professional manner.
- Familiarity with security protocols including VPNs, firewalls, TCP/IP protocols, and network security best practices.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Support Technician are preferred but not required.
