Job description

R&P is looking for a Shipbuilding Data Manager who wants to join our team. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Business Financial Management, Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Data Manager ready to join a fast-paced and exciting program to assist the Navy in constructing the newest class of Frigate. Responsibilities Assist in the update and maintenance of shipbuilder deliverables (i.e CDRLs, ECPs, RFVs) including adjudication of comments.

  • Ensure compliance with established program policies & procedures and Navy data and configuration requirements.
  • Assist with the use, maintenance, enhancement and testing of the Program integrated data environment utilized to eletronically manage program data such as receipt, status and related change information.
  • Assist in the development and analysis of data management statistics

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Highschool Diploma/GE with 7+ years’ experience supporting Navy shipbuilding programs.
  • Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with Navy surface ship data management practices (preferred).
