Senior IT Infrastructure Manager

Under the direction of the Vice President of IS, the Senior IT Infrastructure Manager will lead, support, and provide leadership to our global IT infrastructure and operations. The Senior IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for managing enterprise Windows infrastructure, Microsoft Azure cloud services, Cisco networking, Fortinet security platforms, and worldwide office connectivity.

The Senior IT Infrastructure Manager will serve as the senior technical authority for the organization’s infrastructure including maintaining the stability, security, and performance of all enterprise IT systems.

Primary Responsibilities by area:

Infrastructure Management

• Manage enterprise Windows Server environments (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022 and newer)
• Administer Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Certificate Services, and file services
• Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure
• Maintain Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Manage Microsoft 365 administration and hybrid cloud environments
• Plan and execute server upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle replacements
• Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity systems
• Ensure infrastructure meets security and compliance requirements

Network Administration

• Manage Cisco switching and routing infrastructure
• Configure and maintain Cisco VLANs, routing, VPNs, and wireless networks
• Administer FortiGate firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and availability
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across multiple global locations

Cloud & Virtualization

• Deploy and maintain Microsoft Azure resources
• Design secure Azure networking
• Manage Azure Virtual Machines
• Monitor cloud performance and costs

Team Leadership

• Assist and mentor Network Administrators and IT Help Desk Support Specialist
• Prioritize work assignments and coordinate project assignments.
• Review technical documentation
• Assist with performance development
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring

IT Operations

• Support headquarters in Raleigh, NC
• Provide infrastructure support for remote offices worldwide
• Lead infrastructure improvement projects
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies
• Maintain IT documentation and standard operating procedures
• Ensure high availability of business-critical systems

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive IT infrastructure experience
• Minimum 5 years managing enterprise Windows environments
• Minimum 3 years of IT leadership or supervisory experience
• Extensive experience supporting enterprise environments with multiple locations
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, * Progressive IT infrastructure: 10 years (Required)
