What you bring

• Strong technical knowledge with at least 5 years of experience in software development.
• Familiarity with our technology stack: Angular, Ruby on Rails, HTTP, RestAPI, JavaScript , PostHog, Datadog, JIRA.
• Ideally you have a first leadership experience.
• A people-focused approach, with a dedication to developing team members, fostering trust, and inspiring growth.
• You speak English fluently.

What you’ll do:

Technical leadership

• Continuously identify strategic engineering initiatives that will improve our hotel tech platform performance, reliability and scalability.
• Guide the team in designing and implementing scalable and reliable software solutions.
• Collaborate closely with the Product team to prioritize and plan development cycles.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to drive best practices in code quality, testing, and software design.
• Lead and support the team in troubleshooting and optimizing our technology stack.

People Management

• Manage the engineering team: conduct regular 1:1s to provide feedback, set goals, and support team members’ professional growth.
• Foster a positive team environment by addressing concerns, promoting open communication, and encouraging collaboration.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work with Product, Design, and Customer Success teams to align engineering priorities with business goals.
• Represent the engineering team’s perspective in strategic discussions to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with our product vision.
