

Automation Engineer (m/f/d) at Sympatient GmbH
Requirements
- Extensive experience with CRM platforms, particularly Zoho, including customization and managing complex workflows
- Proficiency in languages like JavaScript, Python, or Deluge for writing custom functions and extending system capabilities
- Proven ability to integrate external systems (e.g., Stripe, booking platforms, payment systems) with CRMs or other tools
- Proven ability to manage self-hosted tooling such as n8n, Argo or Dapr Workflows
- A knack for identifying repetitive tasks and implementing automation to streamline processes
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities to quickly resolve technical issues and ensure system stability
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with non-technical staff, acting as the go-to expert for system-related questions
- Process-oriented thinking with proficiency in BPMN, EPK or a similar modeling language for processes
- Fluent in spoken and written English; proficiency in German is a plus

Scope of Work
You will be the driving force behind our automation infrastructure, ensuring our systems run smoothly, connect seamlessly and support our entire company’s operations.
- Own and optimize our automation infrastructure, becoming the go-to expert for all employees
- Develop and maintain custom tooling, leveraging advanced programming skills to extend and enhance the system’s capabilities as needed
- Ensure high data quality to support business analystics and enable data driven decisions in the company
- Manage and optimize integrations with external tools such as payment systems, booking systems, finance systems and custom-built applications, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality
- Proactively identify opportunities for automation and system improvements, using programming and debugging skills to implement new features and streamline workflows
- Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving issues within automated processes, providing timely solutions and ensuring system stability and efficiency
