YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• You have a degree in IT or a comparable qualification.
• You have 2-3 years of practical experience and good knowledge of backend development. Ideally, your expertise also lies in the implementation and migration of services in cloud environments.
• Python is not just a snake to you? You know it like your own first language or another object-oriented programming language.
• SQL and you are an unbeatable team! PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, Alembic - these are not just words to you, but tools that you can use while you sleep.
• You have already gained experience with Docker Swarm and Kubernetes.
• REST APIs are like coffee in the morning for you - indispensable! You know your way around OpenAPI, Flask, FastAPI and have already gained experience in implementation and documentation.
• With the help of automated testing procedures, you ensure continuous quality control and optimization.
• We give you bonus points for good German, time series databases, system architecture and a strong problem-solving ability.

YOUR TASKS

Are you ready to shape the future of building technology as a Backend Developer (f/m/d) in a dynamic team? Your responsible tasks include:

• Design and implement REST APIs to extend the functionality of our platform.
• Maintain and optimize our backend to ensure smooth operations.
• Work closely with our energy system engineers to further develop a stream processing service for monitoring sensor data.
• Take responsibility for the further development of our autonomous building control system and create a measurable impact.
• You will be involved in the further development of innovative features and microservices to take our products to the next level and inspire our customers.
• You will also work with the team to develop data integration services based on Apache Camel.
• You will also conduct regular code reviews and tests as quality is our top priority.
• Your proactive ideas and suggestions for improvement are important to us - actively contribute to the success of our company.
