12 ways to fix an inaccessible web site - the CODE100 Accessibility Scavenger Hunt results

During the WeAreDevelopers Accessibility LIVE day we announced a special CODE100 puzzle, the Accessibility Scavenger Hunt. Basically, a web site we built with lots of issues in it for people to discover.

And we are absolutely floored by the results. People did not only take a cursory look, but delivered full reports including ways to fix the issues. We've collected all the answers in an anonymised fashion in this document, so have a read and learn a lot about different approaches and solutions to accessibility testing and fixing of issues.

As there is no one solution to this, we also just sat together and went through the broken experience showing different ways to fix them and explaining why these are problems, so check out the video of Daniel Cranney and Chris Heilmann analysing all the problems we found:

We're incredibly excited to see all the submissions and picked 5 challengers for the final of CODE100 at WeAreDevelopers World Congress in July next year!
