Job description
The Network Resource will support the delivery and operation of enterprise network services, with a focus on network security, connectivity, segmentation, Firewall governance, DNS services, and cloud networking. The successful candidate will work across IT, OT, and cloud environments to enhance network resilience, improve security controls, and support the implementation of Zero Trust and network modernization initiatives., * Support the deployment and ongoing management of Network Access Control (NAC) solutions and device authentication services.
- Assist in implementing network segmentation and trust-zone strategies across enterprise and cloud environments.
- Review and maintain secure connectivity between IT, OT, DMZ, Azure, AWS, and internet-facing services.
- Support Firewall policy reviews, governance activities, and security rule optimization.
- Assist with Azure Firewall, IDS/IPS, and network security enhancement initiatives.
- Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure components to ensure service availability and performance.
- Support DNS, DHCP, NTP, and other core network services, including security and compliance improvements.
- Contribute to device visibility, profiling, and network monitoring initiatives.
- Assist in integrating network telemetry and operational insights into monitoring and security platforms.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity teams to support network transformation projects and operational excellence
Requirements
- Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure and connectivity services.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and NTP.
- Knowledge of network security fundamentals, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control technologies.
- Exposure to Network Access Control (NAC) solutions such as Forescout, Cisco ISE, or equivalent.
- Understanding of network segmentation, Zero Trust principles, and secure connectivity concepts.
- Experience working with cloud networking services in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS environments.
- Knowledge of Firewall management and security policy governance processes.
- Experience in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
- Ability to analyze network performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Meraki wireless solutions and access control technologies.
- Familiarity with Forescout, Infoblox, or similar enterprise networking platforms.
- Exposure to IDS/IPS, DDoS protection, and network security monitoring tools.
- Experience supporting Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) or VPN modernization initiatives.
- Understanding of DNSSEC, encrypted DNS, and Protective DNS technologies.
- Experience working within hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.
- Knowledge of SOC, SIEM, or SOAR integrations.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Azure Network Engineer Associate, AWS Advanced Networking, or equivalent.

Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires Network Resource to be based at their client’s office in Coventry, UK.
This is a hybrid role - you can work remotely in the UK and attend the Coventry office 3 days per week .
