Previous experience working in a similar role
Experience in the design and development of large platforms with simple solutions
Strong background in technical delivery, high-quality coding and deep knowledge of domain driven architecture design
Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships within the engineering team
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while driving focused resolutions

Scope of Work

As Chief Architect at Bitpanda, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering department from a technical perspective and driving technological innovation that can be beneficial for the organisation. You would provide the strategy and roadmap while supervising those changes to shape the products from a technical point of view.
- Create and maintain an architectural roadmap to shape and grow the architecture of a complex multi-product platform
Ensure systems stay ahead of future growth in terms of performance, reliability and security
Research reference architecture and guide on best practices in domain driven architecture design
Keep abreast of new technologies and stay on top of any trends and developments that might be beneficial to the organisation
Oversee implementation details of new features and products and decide together with the Tech Leads and Technical Program Managers for the best solution
Guide developers in achieving technical excellence
