Senior Data Scientist (all genders) at Flaconi GmbH

• 3+ years of proven experience developing and deploying machine learning solutions in real-world business settings, ideally at scale
• Deep understanding of core data science concepts, with the ability to independently select and apply the most effective techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering)
• Advanced proficiency in Python (including PySpark, scikit-learn, NumPy, pandas, matplotlib) and SQL
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and familiarity with Databricks as a Data & AI platform
• Practical experience with MLOps tools and workflows for production-grade model lifecycle management
• Exposure to the e-commerce domain and experience with building or deploying Generative AI solutions is a strong plus
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to influence and explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A proactive team player who takes full ownership of projects, contributes to team development, and mentors junior colleagues

• Lead end-to-end flaconi’s  use-cases including demand forecasting, churn & CLTV modeling, pricing, customer segmentation, recommender systems, and personalization
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques for regression, classification, clustering, NLP, Computer Vision, and time-series forecasting
• Develop and deploy deep learning models using PyTorch, TensorFlow or Keras, including transfer learning approaches
• Build and maintain scalable MLOps workflows on the Databricks platform to ensure a seamless Data Science lifecycle
• Handle large-scale datasets using distributed computing frameworks like Apache Spark
• Develop APIs and integrations for model serving and interaction with external systems and services
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address business needs; mentor junior colleagues and foster data literacy through internal trainings
• Work with our core tech stack: Python, SQL, Databricks, AWS, GitHub — and stay up to date with the latest trends in data science and e-commerce

• Full transparency: For this role, we have a salary band between 75,000€ and 95,000€ gross per year. The salary that we will offer you will always be within this span and is based on the skills that you show during the recruitment process.
