Web Developer at Cook & Cooper

In this role, you’ll actively build and enhance our digital experiences by crafting user-friendly websites and interactive applications. You’ll write clean, efficient code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—and work with modern libraries and frameworks such as React or Svelte—to transform design mockups into responsive, high-performance web pages. Your daily activities will include troubleshooting and debugging code, optimizing page load times, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility to provide a seamless user experience.

You’ll collaborate closely with experienced developers and UX/UI designers, participating in code reviews, brainstorming sessions, and iterative testing. This hands-on approach means you’ll be involved in every step of the development cycle—from developing prototypes that test new design concepts to integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services into our systems. Additionally, you’ll help maintain and update existing sites, implement new features based on user feedback, and contribute to our version control practices with Git.
