Data Analyst - Advertiser Intelligence at trivago
Requirements
- 6 years of work experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with a focus on statistics, data exploration, and visualization
- Ability to break down complex projects into clear well-defined sequence of actions
- Ability to prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Good knowledge of SQL and at least one programming language, preferably R or Python
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or BigQuery
- Good communication skills for dealing with non-technical stakeholders in a clear and straightforward way
- Solid written and verbal English communication skills
Scope of Work
- Shape the data vision of selected company-level projects
- Collect and translate business problems across different teams to data requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find, define, and validate business opportunities and problems worth solving
- Provide high-quality analytical support by enabling reporting & meta-analysis
- Develop, maintain, and visualize clear and actionable KPIs to stay on top of performance and uncover potential optimizations
- Monitor data regularly to spot trends and find anomalies that can create business value
- Proactively keep the team and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds informed to ensure a high level of transparency and clear outcomes
- Be responsible for project KPIs, from definition and data processing, to reporting and visualization
