Requirements
We are looking for you, if you:
- Have very good knowledge of Java 17+, Spring framework, GIT and Maven,
- Are not afraid of challenges related to monitoring production system and incident solving,
- Are able to identify problems, analyse key information and propose the best solutions,
- Are a team player,
- Have min. 5 years of experience on similar position or so.
English level - B2
You'll get extra points for:
- Experience in batch file processing solutions,
- Kafka, Docker and S3 storage knowledge,
- IT Service Management knowledge
- Agile and DevOps knowledge,
- Code testing skills.
Scope of Work
Your responsibilities:
In this role as Java Dev Engineer you will be part of the Paper&Send DevOps team which is responsible for getting all paper communication to ING clients (currently in NL and BE).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analysis and development of new features and maintaining existing ones,
- Assist the Paper&Send squad and related squads in required tasks like collecting logs for investigation, doing checks after changes/patches etc.,
- Fully contribute to improving the Paper&Send squad’s processes whilst also ensuring all mandatory requirements such as IT risk control, change control etc. are adhered to,
- Attend daily, weekly and bi-weekly meetings with the Paper&Send squad,
- Contribute to improvements and be proactively engaged in the teams Scrum ceremonies.
