Senior QA Automation Engineer at Eltemate

• Hands-on experience with Playwright for web UI automation (TypeScript/JavaScript).
• Demonstrable experience in quality engineering with a focus on cloud environments, microservices, and enterprise-scale applications.
• High proficiency in Full Stack JavaScript ecosystems and tools such as Node.js, React, Express.js, and associated testing frameworks.
• Expertise in designing and implementing testing protocols for GraphQL and RESTful APIs.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud service platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) with a strong grasp on deploying scalable and secure applications.
• Python scripting abilities and familiarity with its testing frameworks (pytest, unittest) are highly desirable.
• Ability to perform well in high pressure environments.
• Ability to manage conflicting deadlines and operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of testing principles, test case design, and test data handling.
• Proactive, independent, and detail-oriented approach to testing.
• Fluent English.

• Full-time employee
• Located preferably in Berlin or Amsterdam (other locations including London, Munich and Hamburg are potentially possible)
• Compensation depending on qualifications and experience.

• Write, run, and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Playwright.
• Expand and improve test coverage for frontend user flows and scenarios.
• Collaborate closely with developers to understand features and define test strategies.
• Debug test failures, identify root causes, and report issues clearly and concisely.
• Keep tests integrated into the CI/CD pipeline and ensure quick, reliable feedback loops.
• Maintain and improve test documentation and reporting.
• Write and maintain automated tests for backend endpoints using Python (e.g., pytest).
• Support continuous improvement in QA practices and processes.
• Contribute to the overall product development QA process
