Lead Architect eCommerce (x|f|m) at Sartorius

Requirements

 We are looking for a Lead Architect eCommerce for the Digital Customer Experience department at Sartorius Corporate Administration GmbH. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the technology stack for front and back end, monitoring the systems, solving complex problems and documenting design ideas to ensure alignment between the eCommerce system and business goals to create the future with us.

This position is available for full-time. It is a hybrid role requiring some days on site at 

our headquarters in Göttingen with the opportunity to work some days remotely.

Grow with us – Your Responsibilities

  • You will work closely with product owners, architects, technical leads, departments and service providers to specify requirements and ensure their correct implementation in line with the company's interests
  • You will be responsible for technical leadership and driving innovation for projects in the areas of eshop, website, portal, DAM and PIM
  • This also includes the planning and architecture of eCommerce ecosystems, including the integration of interfaces and systems
  • You will be responsible for monitoring technical performance and identifying potential for optimization
  • Support project management in the introduction or adaptation of managed systems rounds off your area of responsibilities





Scope of Work

 

What will convince us

  • You have a degree in business informatics, information technology, computer science or a comparable focus as well as extensive professional experience in a comparable position
  • We require experience with agile software development and systems such as Jira/Confluence
  • You have extensive experience in eCommerce, both technically and in terms of processes
  • You have a strong technical understanding of web technologies, ideally SAP Commerce Cloud, CoreMedia CMS, DAM and PIM systems as well as portal applications
  • You have a proven track record in the architecture and implementation of eCommerce solutions and have the relevant project management skills
  • You are characterized by confident and professional interaction with internal and external stakeholders
  • You are characterized by your structured and independent way of working, a high degree of communication and teamwork skills as well as a “hands-on mentality”
  • Very good English and German skills round off your profile
