Requirements
We are looking for a Platform Engineer (x|f|m) for the Cloud & Developer Platform department at Sartorius Spain S.A. In this position you will play a central role in the further development of our Developer Platform. You will integrate the requirements of our development teams into CI/CD pipelines, the cloud infrastructure and our development tools. The job is full-time and can be done remotely on a daily basis as well as on site at our office in Madrid.
Grow with us – Your Responsibilities
- You will design, improve and maintain our internal developer platform to enhance the developer experience and the efficiency and effectiveness of the development processes
- This includes developing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipeline templates and providing “golden paths” for developers to accelerate software development
- You will be responsible for developing a scalable, reliable and maintainable infrastructure in Azure using Terraform
- Integrate developer tools such as SonarQube and Snyk into our platform to ensure seamless use by development teams
- You will develop modern monitoring and alerting solutions with Grafana Cloud, Azure and Open Telemetry
- Working closely with our development teams to capture requirements and facilitate platform adoption
- Solving problems in the areas of CI/CD, IaC and development tools as well as ensuring a smooth development flow are also part of your responsibilities
Scope of Work
What will convince us
- You have a degree in computer science, engineering or a comparable field of study
- You have several years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps practices, software development or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of implementing DevOps practices is required for this position
- You have hands-on experience using Terraform to create IaC for containerized cloud solutions, preferably in Azure
- You have knowledge of Azure DevOps (or similar tools) and are familiar with typical software development tools such as SonarQube or Snyk
- Experience with platform orchestration tools and Kubernetes is an advantage
- You are able to simplify complex concepts and communicate them to a broad audience
- Fluency in English completes your profile
