Team Lead Backend (w/m/d) at aedifion GmbH

• ou have a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
• With at least 5 years of experience as a backend developer or project manager in software development, you have the necessary technical expertise.
• Excellent Python skills are required for this role, as you will be working primarily with this programming language.
• As you will be working in an international environment, you can speak English fluently.
• You will also have in-depth knowledge of backend architectures, software design patterns and testing, which you will apply to your work in a targeted and results-oriented manner.
• You have practical experience in making software scalable
• Knowledge of project management is important to ensure an efficient distribution of tasks within the team.
• Knowledge of Golang or Java as well as experience with Docker, Kubernetes and time-series databases is desirable, although not essential.

These responsibilities will be part of your role with us:

• As Team Lead Backend (f/m/d), you will lead the backend team in technical and disciplinary terms, promote goal-oriented and motivating cooperation and contribute to the team's success.
• In your role as Team Lead, you will coordinate the daily tasks within the team and ensure that all milestones are achieved within the specified time frame.
• The continuous maintenance, optimization and further development of the backend is one of your central areas of responsibility.
• You develop new features and services that constantly improve our platform and products.
• In close cooperation with the Head of Development and the Team Lead Frontend, you will research technical innovations, evaluate potential improvements and implement them after a thorough conception phase.
• Together with our DevOps teams, you will scale the backend horizontally and vertically.
