Backend Developer (w/m/d) at aedifion GmbH

• You have a degree in IT or a comparable qualification and 2-3 years of experience in backend development.
• Your tasks include the development of scalable backend solutions with Python, although you are also happy to familiarise yourself with new programming languages.
• You use modern database technologies such as PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy and Alembic efficiently.
• You create REST APIs with OpenAPI, Flask or FastAPI and also take care of the corresponding documentation.
• With the help of automated testing methods such as Pytest and unit testing, you will ensure continuous quality control and optimisation.
• Plus points are given for good German, time series databases, system architecture and a pronounced ability to solve problems. Suggestions for improvement are important to us - actively contribute to the success of our company.
• Do you have a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science or a related field?

• Design, implement and maintain REST APIs to extend the functionality of our platform.
• Extend, maintain and optimise our backend to ensure smooth operations.
• Work closely with our energy system engineers to efficiently process real-time data from buildings and further develop our autonomous building controls.
• Develop new innovative features to take our products to the next level.
• You will also regularly review and test code as quality is our top priority.
• Your proactive ideas and suggestions for improvement are important to us - actively contribute to the success of our company.
