Scope of Work

As the BI Developer at Automotive you will help us build a platform that is driven by data - where people have access to accurate data and insights to make the best decisions possible, where users get tailormade solutions and recommendations and we hear more “based on this metric” rather than “I think green is better… green is my favourite colour...”.

You will work closely with data producers, owners and users across various domains. Understanding the work they do and how we can support them better will be crucial for you to choose the right solution. This means not only taking requirements, but understanding their needs (and questioning the expected value when needed) and engaging in discussions to map the real world as closely as possible in our data models (which is not always a given). Overall, you will help build our business insights capabilities, including defining and implementing requirements for our data platform. We want to improve our setup and efficiency to build a data platform we all can be proud of.

Responsibilities

As part of Automotive BI platform team, you will be responsible for modelling of data in specific domains and its adoption within teams. Building a data platform that other data domains use to connect their sources and model and report on most important data metrics. In this role you will:

  • Develop business dashboards that help teams to make data-driven decisions

  • Develop logical data models of our data assets in the DWH, building upon our data technology stack (dbt, BigQuery, Cloud Functions…)

  • Set up frameworks and data and processes to ensure data quality and data integrity

  • Maintain a data catalogue to enable data-consuming stakeholders to discover, understand, trust and access our data assets

  • Contribute to building and improving data products (transformations, dashboards, logical data warehouse models etc.)

  • Work closely with business stakeholders and product managers to understand data requirements and deliver insights aligned with business objectives

  • Conduct in-depth analysis to uncover trends, patterns and actionable insights that support key business decisions

  • Present analysis and findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, making complex data understandable and actionable

  • Ensure that BI solutions are adopted within the organisation and that users are adequately trained

  • Help building the Automotive data platform of the future

Benefits

Benefits you’ll love

  • Be a part of well established Swiss-based subsidiary in Belgrade

  • We value work-life balance and employee happiness. That’s why we grant you a hybrid work environment, and 25 vacation days per year, with the option to buy another 10 days in an unbureaucratic process. You also get 10 fully paid sick days per year

  • Lots of team activities and perks and the most important, parking space

  • Great equipment, competitive salary and a variety of fringe benefits like a gym membership and discounts at local stores
