Sr. Software Engineer - Backend at Platomics GmbH

Requirements

You have 5+ years of experience with a focus on Backend Software Development
You are are proficient with Java 11+ and Spring Boot, and have a deep understanding of its features and best practices
You have experience implementing HTTP APIs accessing SQL databases
You have experience in modern SPA frameworks, ideally Angular
You know how to work with Git
You are dedicated to foster Clean Code practices and have a proficient understanding of Software Architecture as well as testing.
You approach technical decisions pragmatically and believe in an empowered product culture that is all about outcome over output
You are able to create and support a great work environment for product teams to thrive in defined by an open feedback culture, honesty, and a focus on personal development.
You have experience mentoring and leading having been involved in hiring and strategic decision for the team.

Nice to have

Frontend: Experience translating Figma designs into production-ready CSS, preferably using Tailwind CSS
Experience with messaging and event oriented systems
