Requirements
Your Profile
- You have + 3 years of relevant experience in the frontend development of web applications
- You have already gained experience in the development of API interfaces between frontend and backend, e.g. with FastAPI, GraphQL or gRPC
- You are a teamplayer and passionate about working with talented and inspiring people
- You are proficient in Vue.js or comparable frameworks as React or Angular as well as related libraries and patterns. You understand the respective reactivity system in depth and are up to date with its latest features.
- You are familiar with parts of our tech stack and are looking forward to keeping up with current industry best practices
- You are business-fluent in English (Level C1)
- Bonus points if you have experience with:
- Javascript Map integrations such as Leaflet
- Web Components
Scope of Work
Your Role
As (Senior) Frontend Engineer (f/m/d) - Vue.js/TypeScript you will be part of an engineering squad with strong knowledge of API design, intuitive user interfaces, databases and architecture. Together, you drive the scaling of our product and have an impact on our users, our organization, and our engineering practices.
How You Make an Impact
- You are part of a cross-functional team (backend, frontend and DevOps developers, design and product owner) and develop user-friendly applications which bring effective customer value
- You conceptualize and develop professional frontend solutions to continuously evolve envelio's core products in an agile working environment
- You design independently the necessary interfaces between frontend and backend
- You develop strategic pathways for evolving the product's tech stack to state of the art solutions
- You take on a responsible role for the frontend development in the squad and mentor more junior engineers
- You have ambitious quality objectives and accompany the entire development process, from concept over implementation through testing to go-live

Distribution grid operators’ existing IT systems and processes are not ready for the challenge of integrating millions of new renewable generators into the grid. envelio has developed the Intelligent Grid Platform (IGP) to support distribution system operators in their future challenges and the mass integration of renewable energies and EV charging points into the grid. The IGP is a modular digital and flexible assistance system with three main application areas:
1.) Data quality: Create validated digital grid models with machine learning algorithms
2.) Grid planning: Automate and accelerate processes and workflows of grid planners
