Software Developer (m/w/d) at Rheinmetall Electronics GmbH

• Completed Bachelor's degree in computer science or comparable
• Professional experience in software development
• Very good programming and design skills in an object-oriented programming language
• Strong knowledge of the programming languages C++ and Python
• Very good knowledge of technical English
• Complex understanding of software architecture
• Willingness to travel

As a software developer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for software development in the area of land simulation, which includes our products such as the Puma, Panther, heavy weapon carriers and much more. With your strong understanding of software architecture and your passion for technology, you will complement the team of 20 colleagues (m/f/d) and deal with the programming and analysis of software components as well as the integration of subsystems. 

Your tasks will include: 

• Programming and testing software components
• Documentation of the software components for which you are responsible
• Effort estimation and cooperation in a development team
• Design, implementation and further development of software components
• Working independently in agile project teams
• Configuration of development environments, test and production systems using the Atlassian toolchain
