Senior UI/UX-Designer (m/f/x) at straiv GmbH

What you bring

• You have a degree in computer science, human-computer interaction, design or a similar course of study.
• You have at least 8 years of experience in UX/UI design or equivalent, proven by a portfolio showing your work.
• You have good English skills.
• You have experience in using various design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or Miro, with your expertise in Figma standing out in particular.
• Ideally, you have experience in leading a design team to coordinate and successfully implement complex design projects.
• You can effectively communicate design ideas and concepts to cross-functional teams, enabling smooth collaboration in the implementation of innovative solutions.
• You have a passion for creating exceptional user experiences and driving innovation.
• Ideally, you also have knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and front-end frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.js.
• Preferably, you already have experience working in an agile development environment.
• You have a valid work permit for Germany.

Your tasks

You are responsible for taking the user flow and user interface of our solution to the next level. This results in the following tasks:

• You will lead the design and development of user interfaces to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between design and development and drive product innovation.
• You conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iteratively improve the user experience
• You will develop solutions in the form of wireframes, prototypes and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
• You stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in UX/UI design and front-end development and advocate for their integration into our products.
• You will be a mentor to junior team members and provide guidance and support on UX/UI design principles and techniques.
